Junior Staff

Overview
Teens who have been with us for several years and demonstrate excellent character, willingness, and leadership abilities:
Teens who meet these qualifications have the opportunity to apply to be Junior Staff in early spring.
What to Expect

Junior Staff Members are a stepping stone between participants and adult staff. They are typically upperclassmen senior high students who have shown outstanding faith and leadership in their years with Teen Mission. (First year students are not allowed to apply for junior staff.)

They have additional responsibilities including helping with the safety guidelines presentation on opening night, chaperoning a SOLO student, helping lead family time, assisting the family heads, and more.

They are also held to a higher standard of conduct including attitude, conflict resolution, attire, character, etc.

Because of these requirements, they also enjoy privileges such as not being required to be at Teen Mission 24-7 BUT MUST FIRST INFORM THEIR FAMILY HEAD BEFORE LEAVING and are allowed to carry electronic devices, but we ask that their use be kept to official TMJC business only.

If you believe you meet these criteria and are up the task, please download, fill out, and return the below form by APRIL 1st 2024 including the reference from a church leader. Interviews will be held on a first-come, first-serve basis.
